A native of Oregon, Dr. Walker graduated from Lewis & Clark College and the UOHSC Dental School. He located his practice in the Cedar Hills area following two years’ service in the Air Force. Dr. Walker has been a practicing dentist for over 30 years and since 2009 has limited his practice to Dental Sleep Medicine; the treatment of Snoring and Sleep-related Breathing Disorders. In 2014 he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
He works closely with Sleep M.D.s and others in the medical community to deliver the most appropriate treatment for each individual patient. He uses state of the art scanning devices to produce accurate models of your teeth upon which your oral appliance is fabricated. There are no messy or uncomfortable impressions.
He is committed to excellence through continuing education and learning. He attends lectures, national conventions, and hands on courses to stay informed of the newest techniques, products, and equipment available. He has attended well over 1500 hours of post-graduate education throughout the country covering all facets of dentistry including Esthetic dentistry, crown and bridge, TMJ disorder diagnosis and therapy, orthodontics and oral appliance therapy for snoring and sleep apnea.
Dr. Walker is currently a clinical instructor at UOHSC Dental School, General Practice Residency Department one-half day per week. He also has a private dental sleep practice at 11786 SW Barnes Road, Suite 340 one- and one-half days per week, limited to treating people with sleep apnea and/or snoring.
